12 November 2001: Satellite News: New firmware
version 1.5-135 realised for Triax DVB 65S
New Firmware is now available for download throught satellite. This version
should finally deal better with the hangup problems of the Triax reciever. Set
Thor 11014H 26000 as you service channel to download this update (remember
to enable Download too). Press the
remote buttons in this order to get the update immidiatly: Red,
Yellow,
Blue,
Green and Standby (On/Off).
Wait about 2 mins and the update will start.

May 2001: Satellite News: New firmware
version 1.5-128 realised for Triax DVB 65S
New Firmware dated 07-05-2001 has been spread around the internet, this firmware
should be downloadable from triax homepage soon thought. Read more about the
improvements on the Firmware
page. Also
made some smaller site changes. + this MIRROR page

April 2001: Satellite News: Viasat Ticket have
started test transmissions on Sirius 5E
Scandinavian Satellite TV provider Viasat have now started test transmissions of
their new Pay-per-view services Viasat Ticket. The frequencys are 11804H
27500 3/4 (Ticket 1 - 8) and 11823V 27500 3/4 (Hockey Extra 1 - 3). The services
will be up and running officially by end of May.

30 January 2001: Satellite News: Viva II to launch on Astra next month
Cologne based German music video channel, Viva II is to join sister channel Viva Television,
in digital on Astra 1 at 19.2 degrees east. Viva Television launched its Astra
digital service last October, Viva II will launch in digital on the 1st February 2001 on
transponder 116 (12.552 GHz V, Symbol Rate 22000, FEC 5/6).
